If it turns out Kesha's claims are true, and Luke is found guilty, and Katy did know about it, then that's pretty damn low even for her.

Remember that Katy is wayyy better friends with Luke then the is Kesha.
They have collaborated for years, and she has probably heard his side of the story and maybe actually sides with him. I assume there is a substantial amount of truth twisting on both sides, so why would Katy risk get involved?

I'm obviously #TeamKesha but I've never denied that Luke is good at what he does, I've been saying this since 2013... it just so happens that since 2013, he's gotten worse and worse. I think he's over tbh, especially if Kesha actually wins her trial.

How could Katy have known anything though? Kesha herself has said dozens of times that (like most victims of sexual assault) she kept it to herself and didn't tell anyone and was threatened by Luke that if she ever told anyone, Luke would ruin her career (and her mother's songwriting career, and kill her dog etc.) She's said that the label heads at RCA knew what was going down too but you can't compare the head of a label that has to oversee Luke and has been working with him since the early 2000's to someone who just works with Luke for quick hits here and there like Katy. Being such close friends with Katy during their beginnings, it's probably more likely that Kesha would try to act like everything was normal around her.

Exactly, it's not Katy's business or place to be involved; I don't know why so many stans and haters alike of both Kesha and Katy expect her to have said something on the matter.
Something definitely happened between Kesha and Katy in 2010 though. They used to be such great friends back in the OOTB/Animal days, but it's like as soon as Katy hit the big time with Firework she never looked back. There's probably way more too it than that though.
Sorry but not buying a single thing Kesha says. I think Katy (and the other Dr. Luke affiliates) don't believe her either but they wouldn't step up cause it would be a scandal if they did.
