it didn't happen during BA era her music videos actually created hype on social media
the point is, the music videos this era SUCK! there is no replay value I never watched Smoke Break more than 2 times, can't even remember what happened there, and I'm completely Heartbeat after watching it once

if she wants to be on top again, she needs to be on top in all aspects: music itself (country pop is her best lane), radio (her label always does a good job) and streaming (for ****'s sake what the **** is wrong with her mv this era?) and do a lot of high profile promotion

I thought it was vocally good, but I agree with the awkward part. They didn't have to be in each other's faces. They could have walked to different parts of the stage.

Right, but it's not like HB is a vocally challenging or showoffy song. If they had delivered the same stage presence but with a song Carrie could slay it would've been a little better, but it was a (relatively) "boring" (for carrie's standards) song matched with an incredibly strange performance

I am in love with this song, but it just doesn't translate well live. Especially to an audience of hundreds of people who may not know it?
