So I want to explain something to you. While I appreciate that you are genuine fans, I want you to understand how sharing and publicizing leaked music actually hurts Kerli.
First, we have worked for weeks to set up promotions with key partners like iTunes, Spotify, media companies, etc. to give Kerli's music the most exposure possible and to hopefully get her music into the hands of the most amount of people as possible on the day of release. Because someone leaked her song and people are sharing this music on the web, some of our partners are cancelling their promotions because the music is now already out there. This may seem illogical to you, but it is how things go.
Since this is an independent release, Kerli will be the one directly suffering from the lack of exposure brought on by the sharing of this leaked music. There is no label in the middle. It's all Kerli.
So I am begging all of you to respect Kerli and respect Kerli's art. Most importantly, please do not tweet, facebook, or share in any manner leaked music that you may come across - EVER.
If you are a genuine Moon Child, we hope that we can count on your cooperation. Please spread the word so others understand how, although you may think sharing leaks and illegal mp3s is harmless, it actually is. It goes way beyond losing out on a couple pennies from Spotify streams or 99 cents from iTunes.
