I've never heard the song but I heard it's very slow and acoustic so would probably drive me mad, but often I hardly ever end up hearing these songs anyway (I still haven't heard Stressed Out yet, and Thinking Out Loud I've only heard a few times).

More than a it deserves a HUGE recognition. Best selling song of 2015 without a doubt. And not taking into account the nearly 850k that CMA effect took away. Truly a MONSTER hit.

Youre totally wrong. Its midtempo ballad with a quirky intonation. It sounds like Bad Day by Daniel Powter (same tone on the chorus)

DAHM has climbed to 35/36 (P/AS) on the Hot AC chart, and even entered published AC (not All-Stations yet) without any action from his label. Nelly's version isn't taking off, so Rhett still has a chance. A collab b/t Rhett & Nelly would benefit Rhett at Top 40 & Rhythmic.

7 Years is incredibly bad and that includes the "story" and who cares if it smashes or not? That doesn't make it any better.
