No, being a woman doesn't exempt her at all from being part of the establishment machine.

Well this is around the same time when Obama started leading Clinton nationally after winning Iowa, and since Sanders was virtually tied, I can see him starting to surge a little bit after IA. I could be wrong, let's wait.

Eh. Until I hear a concrete definition on how Sanders defines establishment (because at this time it's anyone who supports Clinton. Or rather everyone he considers establishment just happens to be supporters of Clinton) then I'll continue to say because she's running to become the first female president ever, she isn't establishment.

Hillary is the establishment. She's literally the highest-profile Democrat with probably more party and PAC support than most candidates in history. The Clintons are widely regarded as the most powerful current political dynasty and one of just two major ones right now, along with the Bush fam.

What I'm concerned about is the dismissal of all her support as "establishment," not her.

Yeah I'm just confused on how trying to be the first woman to head a national ticket and first trying to become the president is "head of the establishment" because there's no foundation, nothing established already about what she's trying to do.

I would say Hillary won, and that Politico doesn't necessarily disagree. Only 52% said he won the Wall Street exchange, which was undeniably his best moment. Two thirds agree he'd lose the GE by a landslide.

Bye I never said that. I said she isn't "head of the establishment" meaning that not only her, but anyone who supports her falls under that umbrella. It just doesn't make sense to me

It is arguable that Hillary has been fighting a type of "establishment" all her life because of her gender, all the way back to when she was first lady of Arkansas and there was disapproval of her keeping her last name and practicing law instead of arranging flowers and hosting dinner parties (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMIoYihU7VU). When Bill ran for president. she was questioned endlessly about her decision to practice law during Bill's time as governor, and when she made a frustrated (and politically unsavvy) remark about not wanting to be a housewife, she was forced to release a chocolate chip cookie recipe (http://clinton2.nara.gov/WH/EOP/Firs...l/cookies.html). Although women's equality have definitely progressed since then, this is the type of establishment and status quo that Hillary is referring to when she says that being the first female president is against the establishment. It is not the same establishment as what Bernie is referring to.

They also reported on how Clinton's answers on her speeches were still lame and that Axelrod found Bernie to be far more appealing than he used to think.

They clearly last night's debate was a tie, maybe they're not trying to be like the rest of the biased media.
