To be fair, Una didn't leave 3 singles out in the cold. I couldn't just dump them at the end of the album, they deserve more than that.

I've finally listened to the album. It's generally very low energy with lackluster production and half baked lyricism. Worst of all it seems she's forgotten how a decent hook should work.

There were some notable tracks like Love On The Brain, something I've never heard from her before. Seems like she was impersonating Rebecca Furgeson just a tad. But it actually sounds like she can sing. A catchy and pretty song.

Although when listening to close to you, all I could think about was how much better Toni Braxton would have sang that song.

Same Ol Mistakes was another song I enjoyed thoroughly. But tbh, she didn't really contribute much. She didnt really have to be in the song. And now its been brought to my attention that it was merely a cover. That makes so much sense. Her vocals were just a distraction.

So yeah. Most of the album is low quality aside from Same Ol Mistakes and Love On The Brain. And even Same Ol Mistakes wasnt original. Aside from like 3 exceptions the album all round forgettable and generic.

It's so funny how people were dragging me in the kiss if better Instagram leak thread for calling it "generic" based on the snippets we got. And in the end, it still came out generic

I hate it too and mine is only in a seperate playlist, I haven't actually done it on the album in iTunes. I think usually it's terrible but I've kept the standard in order and inserted the deluxe tracks and singles that were clearly intended for the album and that fit sonically.

Same here. I didn't want to change the original tracklist, just insert the deluxe +promo singles ( ) where I felt they fit. A BTW Bonus Track Version teas. I usually never mess with tracklists.

It was genre of music combined with her pronunciation and her singing technique. Rihanna has never sang in that manner before

It's a mix between Joss Stone and Rebecca Furgeson. Actually more close to a Joss Stone lite.
