I think the keys are hidden in each room, because the code for solved and failed operations mentions "r7" "r8" and all of that. Maybe the keys needed to unlock the "final discovery" were the numbers we kept seeing in some of the rooms? Remember when we found that "8/1" date in the Gallery room and we thought it was the release date? What if it was one of the keys all along?
