I think I might stream this for a couple days on AM and then buy it next week or so.
I like it alright on first listen. I'm sure like everything else she's done this era, it will be a huge grower. It definitely doesn't feel like the type of song that hits you hardest on the first couple listens.
Let's hope I bother to give it a chance to grow by actually giving it a second listen. The poor stans who are gonna have to force themselves to like it.
I just want a Top 10 debut. She's at a point in her career where a BB Hot 100 aint that big of a deal anymore just something to have. Kinda like Bey and The Grammys.
But How much does she need to sell to get there? She has 1.7 days out of the tracking week so I know its going to be hard. She'll probably sell 70K overall. Where would that make her debut with little to no streaming. (Apple Music and TIDAL).
Work has a lot of tropical house elements just like Bieber's Sorry. That's the genre that's currently on trend with the likes of Kygo, Matoma etc... You've been listening to the song all day and can't figure out what genre it is Even Rolling Stone magazine agrees with me http://www.rollingstone.com/music/ne...-work-20160127
