Eren is the angsty version of your typical shonen protagonist (i dont mind the shonen protagonists) but eren's version make him extremely unlikable...
Mikasa is a mary sue, her lack to show any emotion except her incest fantasies make her boring...
Armin is the only one who had development, it might be the typical whiny useless kid who becomes somewhat usefull... he is annoying at times and not very interesting anyway...
Most of the other characters are going through the same cycle of emotions... their inner dialogues are all the same...and they are so loud and whiny... no one cares about the deaths in AOT because only fodders die and u dont care about teh fodders cause they are uninteresting....
I get the hype for Levi because he is the only one who is somewhat different and interesting... personally i dont like him but i can understand why people like him...
Also the character design is blunt imo...
