por ejemplo: during the episode Baby Not On Board, this was said between the two main characters:

If you took this level of critique to anything on tv and especially family guy's previous episodes you would find plenty of things that are politically incorrect, but everyone is aware that's what family guy does

Clearly you haven't even seen the show. They mock everything and everyone. Blacks, whites, Asians, Arabs, Indians, gays, lesbians, rich people, poor people, politicians, fat people, skinny people, celebrities, people with big noses, people with eating disorders... I mean, I could go on. They've mocked Americans and everyone else for that matter. It's what this show does.

That said, I do wish there were more shows/movies that depicted the reality of Africa as a whole. There are actually so many modern and beautiful countries there, many of which could rival most states in the US or even the UK for that matter. If the world saw more of the normal parts of Africa, I think it might even help reduce the negative stereotypes surrounding it, and maybe even black people in general. All of Africa is not poor African tribes running around with no clothes and living in mud huts.

You're making it sound like African tribes with no clothes and mud huts is something they should be embarrassed about. As if western culture should be aiming to portray Africa in way that would be like : 'Look, these savages can be western too !'. In the end it's all very patronising. Africa doesn't need to be portrayed like a western country to be respected or admired.

I used to really like family guy and even kii'd at their racist jokes. I would have found this funny 5 years ago but not now. The thing is the stereotypes that they use as a punchline actually have negative impact on certain people groups' lives. But in comedy you're supposed to punch up not punch down. And then to top it off most of the audience for this show is white. So you'll have a bunch of white kii'ing at racist jokes while they live their life of privilege and won't ever have to think of the negative impact those stereotypes carry.
