In the tennis thread once I referred to a tennis player as "Legend" and got a WP for nicknames because her real name is Martina Hingis. You know damn well if you referred to Lady Gaga or Bey as "Legend" it wouldn't be warned so I sent a HR and they said if they didn't warn it for that they could probably warn it for disruptive or annoying

Like I said they can come up with bs excuses anytime they want

Sometimes they just make up stuff I guess. That seems petty though? It doesn't seem like anything against the rules like "G0dnet" or something ... a mess.

It is petty. The rules for nicknames say you can't mangle a person's name. The word Legend isn't even close to Martina Hingis so I was confused on why I got warned for nicknames

Kworb replied saying I could get warned for disruptive because people may not know who I'm talking about??? Like okay as if Taylor stans saying "Her" or saying "Legend X" is easy to figure out. And besides all of the tennis fans know who "Legend" is just like music fans know who "Legend X" is

He then replied "new fans may not know who Legend is" okay but new music fans won't know who "Legend X" is either but I decided to give up. Mods are petty for the most part

i guess? but why are you taking bad posts on a forum personally enough to take action to make people get punished for them, especially when they're not an attack on anyone? never understood this attitude

The Nicknames rule makes no sense. The fact that people can call Taylor "Lord" all day long but you got a WP for that

I remember in an old reports and warnings thread, there were people in there talking about their "report success rate" and being disappointed that all their reported posts didn't get warned, and vowing to do better next time. like...y'all taking this whole thing a biT serious

Some posts are pretty nasty, I have no remorse in reporting. I've reported people for racism and stuff like that too.
