I'm not a black person (and I don't think the Oscars are being racist here), but I agree with this. A lot of black people in this thread and on ther sites have racistly dismissed other minorities this year and last year with their Oscar complaints like they don't matter. It's a bigger problem than the nom list

And before someone argues racism against whites doesn't exist, I'm saying you're all being racist against Asians, Natice Americans, Latinos, and other minorities races so that has nothing to do with anything

Honestly, these protests just hurt causes. Did the Oscars nominate any LGBT, Asian, Latina, etc. people last year and this year? Anyone with any kind of mental disorder? Any children? Straight Outta Compton and Creed were both critical and commercial successes but no noms for F Gary Gray, Ryan Coogler, Michael B Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Jason Mitchell. Idris Elba or Beasts of Nation. I mean come on. And Tangerine was missing as was Oscar Isaac

I know you're rational, but I think my point wasn't communicated clearly. I'm not saying being a racial minority = having a mental disorder. I'm saying both are groups that received zero nominations. So if blacks people not being nominated means the Oscars hate blacks people, people with mental disorders not being nommed means the oscars hate them as well. It's the same reason I brought up children (and implied ageism)

I have criticized some people in this thread for only caring about black minority races and not others, tho. And I stand by that
