novels are fun but sometimes my inspiration dies and i don't have any good ideas for a long time. but other than that i like writing them a lot, i love having the room to develop characters and make a detailed plot so novels or long short stories really are what works best for me plus i like writing fanfiction but i never post that because it's too embarrassing

Yeah, I totally get you about staying motivated to finish. I have about 4-6 started novels that I've never gotten back to. The novel I plan on finishing by summer involves a gay Midwestern kid who dreams about living in a big city and being successful. But eventually, he finds out success and happiness are relative terms and isn't expressed in income and revenue. So basically, it's going to be my passion project about my dream life in college, finding first love, my dream career, and how I want to be by the end of college.
Sound interesting or no?
