I think this is one of my my earliest memories about Madonna....
I went to a catholic elementary school and we had this "sessions" with this priest... He was talking about things and one time he showed us the AL videos...both.. the banned one and the released one!
I remember it only briefly but he liked the "unreleased" video he was talking about how real it is.. about how this world is.. how she had a point etc... (he was a stan )

I loved it so much I remember going home and searching it on the internet...
So yeah... the original video is definitely underrated and overlooked.
