Cherish is just another part of the whimsical masterpiece that is Like A Prayer. It's weird, dark, twisted, almost Lewis Caroll like at some points. But it's beautiful.

It's far too saccharine, and the lyrics are too cheesy and sentimental. I also don't really like her voice on it, and the instrumental and production are a bit grating.
