I wouldn't say it was thin. It was light and girlish at the time. Obviously by the Bday era, she went through her 2nd vocal evolution. By the end of the Beyoncé experience tour , it had darkened and gotten fuller, just in time for the beginning of the IASF era.

I think she'll do a verse from Hymn since it doesn't make sense for her to just do background vocals at the SB.
she does more than bg vocals on the song tho. She opens it, sings loudly in both prechoruses, harmonizes in the 2nd verse, sings the bridge and the parts that follow it and then close out the song.
Way more than Tove Lo on "Fun" and way more than Janelle in "We Are Young"
