The charts have always come out during the Christmas/New Years Holidays since BB converted to SS in 1991. BB's put out other articles, but nothing about the charts at all.

Yes UF wasn't effected by CMA at all, because the album flopped.
But for Adele they are subtracted from her total. That's just the way it is
