Wii U is a niche console now just because it sold a "small amount"? How can a console with mainstream games, mainstream attention and mainstream promotion (and the budget to match) behind it, be niche? It's underperforming commercially but it is not some niche machine. That's like saying Ariana is a indie artist now since Focus underperfomed.
