My mum is so annoying and is making our vermin problem so much worse. Whenever i'm home i put down traps to catch them but during term time when i'm not there she doesn't do ANYTHING and just lets them breed. Plus she always leaves food out which makes me so paranoid even though i know they can't climb on top of the kitchen counters.
Makes me not want to come home for the holidays

But like, she's gotten really comfortable with them being here, its kinda gross how unphased she is by their presence. Like when were eating dinner and one runs across the floor i scream and put my feet up on the chair but she just carries on eating

That would freak me out too. Reminds me of that family I used to live with, and when I told them there were mice in my room they were like "Yeah, it happens all the time here" and that was pretty much it.
