A lot of ratchet (and/or) "underprivelaged" black boys stan for him and actually do look up to him. Especially ones that are considered "bad" and "outcasts". He is proof that you can overcome anything, never to give up even when ppl try to count you out, etc.

I can't decide if I like these Deadpool trailers because of Ryan or because I enjoy Deadpool as a character.

Comic book nerds do not like Ryan, though. They are probably turned off by him playing Deadpool, just like they had absolutely no interest in him playing the Green Lantern.
