#45
Starting this update a #45 is CHVRCHES' new single ' Leave A Trace'. CHVRCHES have had my respect and adoration for a more than 2 years now since the release of their first album "The Bones of What You Believe". I really enjoyed the entire first album and waited in nervous anticipation of their Sophomore release.. The lyrics arestrong and the song could be an anthem to many of our lives. Lead vocalist Lauren Mayberry put it perfectly in saying " is the middle finger mic-drop".

With the success of her debut single last year "All About That Bass" Meghan Trainor scored another hit this year with John Legend. She sings well beyond her years but has a sound of yesteryear. A romantic and soulful production. John Legend adds to her perfection.

[COLOR="DarkRed"]Trian came back this year with 'Bulletproof Picasso'. I have always loved the clever metaphors and the relateable lyrics that Train puts into their music.

This is the first time Fifth Harmony as made in my year-end countdown. They had a breakthrough year. I'm very happy to see that Fifth Harmony has found success after the X-Factor. They used to be very girly and childish and this song is definitely a change from their style from back on X-Factor. This song is very catchy.

I would have never thought in million years that I would include Justin Bieber in any of my lists. This is the first time I actually can tolerate a song from him. I guess it's because this song , in particula,' sounds like something out of a Donkey Kong game. He had the most successful comebacks this year.

Bonus Song #4
The third bonus song for this update is Carly Rae Jepsen's "I Really Like You". The song is comparable to "Call Me Maybe" because it has a nice hook a memorable chorus that seems to be easy to sing along.
Bulletproof Picasso I'm surprised. The whole album is underrated and I don't get why because it's so much better than their previous one. Ok, it couldn't top Save Me, San Francisco, but I liked it. Bulletproof Picasso was a great single choice.
