I am worried about her acting, though. She doesn't really get lost in her characters in my opinion - it's like she's trying too hard and not letting it come across naturally. I don't want her to squander all this adoration she has by embarrassing herself in a movie.

If she only get a Hit song out of the soundtrack but the song is huge but the movie is bad so be it. Plus I think that having low expectation is good. People will get surprise. People aparently only have seen obsses and pink panter.

I don't know why some people are over thinking Bey taking part in a star is born,i mean it's not like acting is her main job,so I doubt anyone,but a few pressed Bey haters would care if it flops.
however I trust my fave,she never looses,and I know she'll never embarass herself.Bey would be fine,and I wish some of you would stop being bothered about Bey having bad press,it comes with the territory and most of the bad press she has gotten it's often over dumb stuff,i doubt her acting in a star is born (no matter the outcome) would damage her brand.

!!! If the story about the acting classes are true, I'm not worried. The last time she indulged herself in a character and took time to learn how real life people in this situations play out, she did an amazing job.

I've noticed a common thread on here that the Hive is typically a lot less messy than other stans. And more intelligent. It's always other stanbases that run into a thread with some disgusting (racist, sexist, etc.) comment and I honestly rare see anything like that out of the hive.

I find Halo and Single Ladies to be some of her weaker tracks. They're still good but she has delivered far better.

I will admit they have a special quality about them that sets them apart, though.
