I just can't imagine what it would be like to be a trans female, and to outwardly display yourself as a female and be going by female pronouns and all that, and have people think it's a "scandal" when a man gets with you. They just want to live their lives as the female they are but other people treat them like circus freaks because of their trans status. Trans people must be so strong to put up with all that ignorance, I really admire them

i mean, if a straight man has sex with a trans woman that identifies as female but hasn't gone through physical transition at all then i can see that being difficult to understand, but other than that i don't know why a person would be surprised by that at all. it's not like you can tell a trans woman is trans just by looking at her with clothes on (at least, you usually can't), so i don't see why it'd be any different than with a cis woman
