Ciara doesn't go out of her way to look like a man.... She doesn't wear fake mustaches or anything. If you said someone dressed up as a dog looked like a dog, it wouldn't be a big deal. If you say an ugly person looks like a dog, you're being a douche. IDK if it makes sense. I'm more annoyed at people calling it gay or whatever because gays don't walk around looking like that.

Adam's still gonna do better than most of your faves on the charts even with this cover. He has millions of fans that support him for his MUSIC! His serious fans wouldn't just abandon him because of some album cover. :/

Yep those three quotes pretty much contradict themselves. Someone gets banned for calling Ciara a male, but it's completely okay for people to say Adam's a girl. It's such a horrible double standard. In my opinion saying "MALE? Really?" is just as offensive saying Ciara's a dude. Just because he can play with his sexuality and be different than everyone else, he's immediately a disgusting gay dude girl drag queen.

There's really a difference between expressing and doing too much. Not saying he needs to be "a little straight" to sell. But that also doesn't mean he has to be so flamboyant with it. I mean, the heavy make-up. Feminine pose. Shirtless. It's all too much. I'm all for people being themselves, but I feel like this is more than being himself. He's trying to force it upon people. This will turn buyers away. No matter how great the music is/will be, some will just not pick this up.

It's not shallow at all. I'm over the whole buying a Britney CD thing, since like Britney. But THIS. I wouldn't even do this. When I download it I will replace it with a different album art for my iPod. I showed my friends this last night and first word was "Gay" from all. And it's not a bad thing. Just proves how horrible this is gonna hurt him. I don't know what his label is thinking.

How can you say this isn't him being himself when you don't even know him? Not saying that I do, but look at his pictures from the past. He obviously enjoys playing up the colorful/feminine/dress up side to himself, so how could that not be him?

Obviously you know a lot of shallow straight people. While my straight friends all thought it was a bit girly, they never said "ew I wouldn't buy that he looks so gay/drag queen." That's so rude. Maybe a straight guy that was afraid of what other people would think wouldn't buy his album, but a real confident straight guy who isn't insecure could care less.
