Yeah erykah is a legend and bringing up Iggy is just like when that comedian brought up Kim kardashian at the golden globes after the marriage fiasco.
If no one cared, they wouldn't use their name for attention.
Soul train awards hasn't even been a thing this entire century and it's expected that they would come up with a joke about a woman who had more success and made more money than most of the rappers in that genre in such a short amount of time.
My only thing is: Couldn't they have used a better joke? I'm still not getting the belly aching laugh from what i read.
I think even the drake shade this summer about ghostwriting would have been a better chance at a belly ache laugh.
This seemed like writers came up with a joke an hour before the show.
plus a lot of singers can't sing
