By mixtapes I hope you are not referencing her first 3 albums since grow into one is actually on her trinity.

Dejavu has so many great songs. I really don't get the hate for it. Easily better than UNIVERSE, TRICK and her last two at the very least!

One night romance is literally in my top 3 Kuu songs + those 3 albums have real Emotion, So Into You, COLOR OF SOUL, S.O.S ~sound of silence~, feel me, m-a-z-e, BOY FRIEND?, Without Your Love, Crazy 4 U, Ranhansha, Gentle Words, etc. etc. There's maybe like 5 songs that are kinda 'meh' in total from them. ooo let me go play them now.

Dejavu could have been so much more tho It started off great (the singles and album shoot slayed) but we ended up getting bogged down with too many ballads and "cutesy" tracks

Yes! They have SUCH a distinct style that just screams Jpop while still being very Kumi. She switched it up a bit for secret/Black Cherry, furthering up her own sound even more, which was v impressive, imo. And then the peak with Kingdom.

yes, because it's a standout track for them. I was fuming when Spice was released because people were like STANNING for GLITTER and I was like "but guys... have you paid attention to how singular are the arrangements for Spice? "

Well, I started that way too, only really getting into her most recent releases and stuff. But there are MANY gems in all of those albums. From her debut alone: the songs Kyle mentioned + TAKE BACK, Trust Your Love and Walk
It may seem a bit same-y at first, but a bit of time investment is really worth it!

Idk tbh, I like the whole album, except maybe Bambi? Okay, AT THE WEEKEND, ちょい足しLife, I Don't Love You!??, Lollipop ugh the slayage
