Staryu - Ahh I thought it was a really cute touch that you split the picture up into 3 parts. Anyway, I guess your entry really wouldn't be complete without throwing Gaga in there.

I think you explained yourself well enough.
Superpower - Although it wasn't necessary, you did a very good job at keeping everything in the spirit of France, going so far as to include French composers in your trinity. To me, it was such a brilliant way of approaching the task at hand, and I definitely do thing they're fitting. The latter ones were maybe a bit too intense for the painting, but the first song fit to perfection!
jpow - I love how you deconstructed the painting and chose a song for different traits of the picture. What really worked in your favor was the simplistic-on-the-surface piece you had, because that leaves a lot to interpretation. Anyway, I think the song choices make sense after the deconstruction.
Dessy Fenix - I do think it's important to remember that art is all up to interpretation, so I'm glad you didn't let other people's opinions on the art decide what should be yours. With this said however, I can see your reasoning behind your choices, but I still think there could have been *better choices for it.
Witch Privilege - Okay, I admit it. I laughed. Again, I'd be annoyed if you just decided to put no effort and troll us, but you actually really threw me for a loop, so you get creativity points. Obviously, your songs do not match the theme of the overall painting very well, but whatever. I'll give you some credit for humor.
Pecinta Mariah - It seems you took in the work quite a bit when choosing your songs, but at the same time, one of your choices really feels awkward (Outside). The title is fitting, yes, but I think it's thematically different (or at the very least, in a different tone) to the picture.
A Bomb - Since your painting was so...structureless, it gave a lot of freedom for your entry. Since we basically *have* to have our own interpretation of the painting, most of your job was convincing others of the idea you put forth, and I think you did so in a very creative way.
Sam - I like how you told a story from the perspective of the woman in the painting, rather than just sending in three songs that you think of when you look at the painting. It was a nice approach to the challenge. I especially love the
Oil & Water selection, it was used to nicely.
Navyofbadgals -
Outside is such an odd choice for a song to be used more than once in the same challenge.

Also, I would've appreciated you including your piece somewhere in your entry. Anyway, I appreciated that you tried to explain yourself well enough.
Prismatic - The way you decided to approach this challenge made it so each song really represented something as part of a greter whole, rather than all 3 songs being very general, which could make for things thematically clashing. In that sense, you did a good job of keeping things different, but needed.
lovesong - I really enjoyed how you decided to tackle this! I feel like rather than just the song choices being inspired by the painting, you yourself were inspired by the painting to take it to a different place! Although low-key, Nighthawks (Reimagined) sounds like an upcoming PH song.
genetic fail - Whoa, you really disected this didn't you? The amount of effort you put into this really shows, and I adore it! You brought personality and life to these characters found in your artwork, and giving it meaning outside of what may be thought of at first glace. That's what I appreciated most about your entry. However, you really made sure that the songs you chose fit with the way you interpreted the different characters in the piece, which was very important.
Moonchild - Ok, let me say I never heard your first song, but I am obsessed with it already. Using a song inspired by the artist themselves may seem obvious (I think you commented on it?), but I mean...why not, right? Just makes it that much easier to explain. Anyway, you beautifully described your reasoning behind each of your choices, and I really couldn't agree more on any of them.
8thPrince - Once again, you take things to the unconventional. I think that's especially important to note for this round, because art doesn't HAVE to be conventional. Anyway, you have a very eloquently-written story to go with the painting, as if the painting is just a snapshot of the story. It gives meaning to the painting in a much more effective way than just saying "It means x to me" so..I applaud you on that front!
Colton Haynes - The trinity could've been able to speak for itself if I actually knew what your art piece was. You didn't even say the name of it in your entry.
wesleywalrus - You got the name of Sky's song wrong in your entry.

Anyway, I think it's actually important that we know how you interpreted the piece, rather than just having these songs, because otherwise we're left to make our own presumptions that may not coincide with what you intended.
MusicLoverDude - I like how you interpreted the painting as a story. Your song choices were relatively fitting given the story, so I can't fault you on that.
rl231 - You managed to keep a very consistent theme as far as songs go, and you also made them relate to the piece you were given. I can see where you were coming from, but I think you could've done just a bit better at convincing.
