In the Zone is SO weird because for a large part of the album, I basically like every other song.

Everytime: Not gonna lie, I've never listened to this song in full before! But I've heard a lot about this song. I think the song is okay - lyrically it's nothing spectacular, in fact rather corny - though I get why bottoms would cry in their bedrooms in the fetal position while this played. It's cute, and Britney sounds invested. The production compliments the ending of the album.

Overall: As a whole, the album feels lopsided. There's a lot of tolerable, decent songs with few songs really striving to push the bar. It feels very safe, there's nothing risky or daring, and most of the album lacks the oozing pop goodness you could find on Femme Fatale or Circus. This feels like a transitionary album, and for what it's worth, it's a solid alright.

Lonely: Such a shame the verses are so weird and work against the agressiveness of the chorus. She also sounds like a person here too!

All I know is Britney's first three albums are AWFUL besides the singles. In the Zone, Circus and FF are solid, and Blackout is slay. And bj is obviously trash.
