i have a feeling that they are lying about "the wait is ova" being the second single. Just like everybody thought "the wait is ova" was going to be the first single, then Russian Roulette came out and shocked the world. They are going to release a different song (i hope) and its gonna be major FIYAH!!

unfortunately for your hopes, i think your wrong.... you read that the producers were informed the song would be the next single and that def jam told them to annouce it....right? don't be worried, rihanna won't dissapoint and def jam wouldn't allow her to if she wanted.........

Since when was "The Wait Is Ova" going to be the 1st single? No one knew what any of that meant, all assumptions. When in reality it was just a clever usage of the fact yes finally she was coming back and also a song of the same name. Don't get too ahead of yourself, that's how things like this happen.

I don't understand how everyone already throwing assumptions. You haven't even heard the song and already saying it won't be a big hit? It's mid-tempo? Jesus. Slow your roll. And even if it isn't a club song, like you're all expecting, you know damn well this album will have 6-7 singles anyways.

I personally don't want what everyone is expecting. We've all heard that the album is edgy and has a harder/rougher sound. So you're not going to get "Disturbia"/"Don't Stop The Music" type stuff. Those type of songs would be very outdated now. Especially heading into 2010.

They have already shot the video for it so it's coming. They shot it before RR was released.
