I guess I'm the part of the GP who loved this episode without nitpicking everything. Yes, I can agree that the first half was a bit messy with flashbacks in flashbacks and etc. And only parts where Gaga's acting bothered me was in scenes where The Countess ran out of the hall after finding out that Rudolpho was dead and also in the scene in that church or whatever it was.

I mean, you could see difference between gothic enigmatic (wooden, if you want to choose that one) The Countess when she was staying there in a hallway with Iris and that naive actress. Gaga needs to train hard and then she will be able to do some good dramatic scenes.

Y'all make me analyze her acting after every episode Just think that she's an actress who plays one of the main parts in the season and chill a bit, ffs

I'm watching both SQ and AHS and I can tell that AHS is so much better, lol. I'm glad that Ryan puts all of his work into this show but SQ has been really boring after episode 6.

No, it's just I got that my friend to watch AHS because I loved Asylum so much so I would hype it constantly but he ended up hating it

This episode was... different.

First of all the whole 1920's schtick got boring quick. I understand that Ryan wants to tell a story here of that certain decade when the Countess became what she is and who her connections were at that time. Still those flashbacks could have fallen shorter. I was definately more interested in seeing the progress on John.

Finn Wittrock's new role is very much reminding me of Massimo Dolcefino. The accent, the way he treats a lady, etc... I'm reliving Freak Show right here. Been there, done that. His girlfriend isn't as intriguing as I thought she'd be. Still tragic how they've spent their eternal life inside these walls. Oh, and poor Marcy. She had it coming, sooner or later.

No Liz, no Ramona, no Donovan and most importantly no Sally. They are like my most favorite of the whole bunch. Maybe that's why I didn't enjoy this episode at all which is a first since the season started. It sure had its development but it dragged on for too long.
