I am so torn between "Girl Gone Wild" and "Living For Love" - like if you had to choose one to keep holy and sacred, and the other to be permanently deleted from the universe... ugh it's impossible.
Suppose I'd have to save "Living For Love" just cause of the meaning of that song. I really never expected her to have a lead single with any worthy depth ever again, but this is almost one of her most personal songs, well for me any more. Just to admit that you're alone, that you might be a mess, but that you're still not gonna give up? It always bugs me when people have a few bad dates and say dumb things like "I'm gonna be alone forever!" Like gal if you don't have hope you have nothing.
I don't believe that a relationship is a definer of happiness, but to pretend you can live happily without the love of friends, family or a partner, is just crazy. So it's super cute that two marriages and a love-hate public persona, she's still positive about love.
I desperately want a "living for love" tattoo but I can't help but think that having the word "love" tattooed on you is tacky. Then again, maybe it's brave.
