Before anyone tries to remind me for the 1000th time, I know her initial plan was to release Zillion the buzz song with its video.
But the fact that she's scheduled to perform on GMA (but has yet to say anything about it) makes me think that she's keeping it a surprise and doesn't realize that people know already. Performing a song on tv that isn't being digitally released just isn't the kind of thing Iggy would do.
As for Adele, she has literally nothing to do with Iggy! She's a non-factor, the only issue is some of her songs will push Iggy down on iTunes. Iggy could release any week in the rest of 2015 and be overshadowed, plus anytime after Dec 17th is a bad idea- she needs to start her era now or wait until January. It's not like Iggy will be getting much attention in the first place regardless of Adele - she's releasing a non-pop, rap/electronic song at an awkward time of the year. There's no way to make it easy for her, so she's choosing to not give a f*** about what else is going on.
Either way, we'll know what's going down in a few days
