Yes we do need Louis. It's clear from the ratings. Louis is 10000x better than Nick and Rita, and he makes Sharon the best she can be. That alone is reason enough for him.

No, but we need viewers and like it or not firing him was a mistake. It's the older audience that the show is losing, yet they seem to be focusing on the younger audience which is dumb. Nick and Rita are ok but they're not bringing in viewers.

Yeah, let's pretend guns were invented last Friday, and let's act like no one has ever been shot before. Suddenly it's insesitive to perform "License to Kill" or to make gangster gestures, but going to see the new Bond movie is absolutely fine. In two months, everything will be back to (ab-)normal, and everyone will be hating everyone again, and - instead of #jesuisparis - #fatuglybitch will be trending on twitter, and Monica will realize she did nothing particularly wrong - it was just bad timing.
