I was re watching last night. I have a strange love for season 4. It's not bad at all, but it isn't as good as anything before it. Adam is forgettable and a bit cringe. The only season I have to grit my teeth through is season 7. Just not a cute season, but Buffy at its worse is still decent.

season 3 was cute, but i found it to be such standard fare after they were done with the whole expulsion/running away storyline. I'll be fair and say that maybe I'm too hard on season 3 because it follows the dark gothic masterpiece that was season 2, which imo still stands triumphant as Buffy's greatest, most iconic and defining storyline that put the show on the map.
Faith was great, one of my favorite characters too, but the Mayor was underwhelming. i kind of wish the demon who was chasing Faith had had a larger role in the season than just one episode, and I wish Mr. Trick had a more epic ending than what he got.
speaking of which, does anyone miss Kendra?
i was devastated when she died, and i ask myself, if we had gotten her beyond season 2 i would probably like her more than Faith.
