...BOMT was actually selling 1,000 a week years after its release (see: 2011). When was the last time TF+M sold 1,000 in a week? The same year?

Anyway, The Fame is charting on iTunes and BOMT is not. They're both available there so it makes no difference if one is old or not. Like a Prayer and The Immaculate Collection are charting
Japan is top 3 in the world's music markets and BOMT barely made a dent there. Whereas The Fame is one of the biggest foreign album releases in Japan's chart history.
We won't even go into the 227M grossing tour.
700k isn't "barely a dent." And I'm sure if she had re-released it and included OIDIA as a second album, she could've doubled that figure
There's no anger though. I love Gaga but I will not stand for this utter delusion. You cannot tell me that The Fame Ball isn't her first tour. Facts are facts,

...Baby One More Time was outcharting Femme Fatale by the end of 2011 (check your Soundscan the week of August 28th). It's her second best catalog seller after GH:MP.
On top of that, since November 29th, 2012, ...BOMT has sold 70k in the U.S. Let's hope TF+M holds up that late in to its lifespan.
Is TF+M just a really poor physical seller? Or is this another week where it's discounted? I can't find it in the top 200 albums displayed by my iTunes charts. I know those '80s albums are discounted.
These 3 albums were not consecutive so it doesn't represent peak it show her unparalled longevity

And for the flops who don't understand this: The Monster Ball is Lady Gaga's debut HEADLINING tour. Half of The Fame Ball's shows were either opening acts for other artists or festival performances where Lady Gaga was not the headlining act. It's really not that difficult to understand.
