The singles chart is tough for acts that have been around nearly 20 years or so. Eminems last singles havent done well on itunes either past 2 years.
Like I said, they become more about album sales and touring. Coldplay dont need to prove themselves up against the likes of Bieber in the singles game. They are a global megaband.

All he's been doing was releasing promo singles. The album would've fallen out of the top 10 long before if it weren't for those. 1D did just release one though but their pre order is about a month older.
He released ONE promo single. They've released 3 other songs outside of the 2 singles they already have.
Sia is over indeed. "Chandelier" was her peak, she's aware of it, and now she's just trying to live off of that forever. But hey, it won't work. Everyone's turning her down, from the general public to the artists she used to write for. A pity.
