Hard Candy is the epitome of her trying too hard & Like a Prayer is boring aside from the title track, Express Yourself, Cherish, Promise to Try and Act of Contrition.

Madge was really more of a singles artist, quality-wise, back in the 80's.

oh father and spanish eyes are some of her best work tho.

rebel heart is boring + has cheap production + is unfocused, whereas mdne is pretty underrated on the whole (back me up subomie)
