Using radio receipts from December/Early January is simply inaccurate because radios are still doing countdowns for the top hits of the current/previous year or just playing Christmas songs.

After the freeze ends, all old songs start to catch up in airplay slowly because the radio would be too busy spamming the current and new hits.
