It is though. Maybe it's remembered in the US but in the UK at least it's a non-factor and it doesn't even come close to Friends. Gays really have to stop thinking that any show they like is automatically remembered
Nobody ****ing cares about what airs on UKs 7 channels. Golden Girls is remembered because it was the first and the most impactful. Friends certainly remembered it to reference it on many occasions
Betty Whites long lasting career also insured that everybody knew it
A majority of the TV in the 00's was garbage, but I think after 2010 it started becoming top notch again and is currently at another height. Netflix and streaming has really helped breath new life into tv.
Movies almost feel irrelevant to me. 13 hours of a story on Netflix >>> 2 hours of story in a crappy theater

Rihanna is so pathetic and she's gotten away with so much for way too long. You couldn't tell the Navy **** in 2013. Bey was scared. She was gonna flop. She was pushing her album back. She scrapped the album. The Superbowl, magazine covers, and tour was promo. Etc. EVERY single thing they said about Bey can be applied to their girl's situation, except for Rihanna all of it is actually true.
She had to pull out of the Victoria's Secret Fashion show that's taping in 7 days. And the only decent excuse your team could come up with is you're "still working on the album". The album with a first single released nearly 10 months ago?

Yeah but all this applies to only drama shows (GOT is still more drama, lol). Like people are not able to make some good fantasy show that would make people watch and wouldn't be forgotten a week after it ends

Friends has more commercial appeal though. It's 5 young guys/girls and a geek whereas the other one is 3 old women. GG is still very remembered and a staple. Maybe not outside America, but still.
