I LOVE the new Realiti!
It sounds more powerful and euphoric
Scream is a mess tho SHould be fun at the concert soon I love when she screams at concerts
Ok. I just skipped through the songs. The quality is too messy for me so I'm gonna wait 1 or 2 more days for the iTunes-file to arrive (come through New Zealand!)
Poor REALiTi but at least we have the demo.
Well... I don't really know what to say. I really hope we get the scrapped album someday.
I was expecting Belly of the Beat to have... idk... more of a beat?
Also I don't hear anyone other than Grimes... Not understanding the CL and Angel Haze rumors...
ooooh Kill V. Maim just came on and I'm LOVING it!!! THEY DONT KNOW ME! I really like all the guitar pop on the album. It's still dreamy and electronic, but the guitars give it the extra kick. I've been really into guitars lately.
Kill V. Maim is the first song that songs like her previous work but still distinctly new, i think it's the song she wrote from the perspective of a vampire gangster but it's a bop
For some reason I always stan the best when many people dislike the album ARTPOP teas for me
I love all songs that I've heard. She is just having fun, it is still her. And she did NOT sell out. This is her own work, she produced and wrote all the songs. So proud of you, Claire

Agreed. I can't see any of these songs becoming big radio hits. It's all very weird and very her, it's just a different sound. There's nothing wrong with that. It's not like she went and worked with Dr Luke and Max Martin. This is her own take on pop, which is what she's always done.

Yeah Al Pacino from The Godfather as a transgender vampire who can travel through space.

Pop is the basis of all music, she just went for a less abstract production and lyrics, which is an experiment itself. If anything, she makes pop sound new and experimental
I think the biggest thing for me is how quickly she transitioned to pop I thought FWB was gonna be the most accessible song but it's all very poppy and accessible. From a few listens, it's a really good album, it'll just take time to adjust to listening what a polished, pop friendly Grimes sounds like. The leak itself is fairly LQ anyway.
