I've been thinking and I wonder what Rih said to Samsung to get $25 million. That's so much money and they obviously expect it'll be paid back.They made a huge investment so clearly they have faith in... something?
And I agree that communication would absolve her of a lot of backlash and criticism. We were so calm and excited after the NME interview. If she actually explained what's happening the media would be going less hard, too. We can't even get an apology tweet like

i still use this site because it's pretty fast with all the music releases and stuff. aside from that people in the general threads tend to care about charts and data numbers when it's just about the music. as fans of music, seeing someone do well is nice, we shouldn't be so focused on all the stats behind an album. we should enjoy the artistic vision. the best people i've seen on this site are here in this base, they are funny and just kick back for the most part whereas the rest of the forum is just caught up in petty ****.
Tbh I'm irritated because whenever (if ever) this bloody album comes, there's no way it will live up to this hype she's unwittingly surrounded it with.
It's just not possible. All this "artistry" will just end up being shallow and cosmetic because, regardless of how long she's supposedly been spending on this, she's really taken no steps to improve herself as an "artist."
Judging by her live performances, there isn't about to be any discernible vocal growth between this album and her last. Just three months during these last couple of years, spent with a vocal coach, doing lessons even twice or three times a week, could have done wonders for her technique and overall skill. Instead she's still struggling with issues she's been dealing with for years.
And even her "involvement" with the music is still limited to "directing" the songwriters, at best. She isn't taking the reins of the creation of the music. She isn't taking the lead with the songwriting. She could, if she wanted to, but she isn't. Hell, all the songs we've heard so far were created by other people and randomly found their way to her. The very first song we heard was originally a Kanye West song.
I knew the moment she signed on to Rocnation Jay-Z would do this.
In a lot of ways its exactly like her first years when Jay-Z was president of Def Jam. She has absolutely no personality right now and her sole existence is to make money.
