Did Hip Hop ever leave the US airwaves tho? Like "Lollipop" smashed during the boom of electropop and we got the Young Money crew during the elctropop era, Eminem's comeback etc.

America will never get rid of Hip Hop just like Europe will never get rid of Dance music

Success wise it reached a low-point during 2010-2012 when it was about Dance/Electronic music. There was only a handful of songs Rap songs that actually became Mainstream hits and peaked high on the charts.

But now Streaming has everything back.
