The Adele fans thought that based on her gimmick snippet because she voiced over the TV that she was back and still sad & hurt.
The whole scenario is fabricated and there's a disconnect between the explanation and the lyrics/video.
She's a liar and now a fraud. This is proof that money and success can corrupt anyone.
They want to throw anything out there to make Britney less iconic but only showing how iconic she is because they have gone beyond her genre and started comparisons (cherry picked by the way) with other genres.
