The parallel is real. I don't think it's a bad thing though. Rihanna's album is looking very interesting (aside from American Oxygen.)

I will never forgive Beyonce for cutting this amazing ballet choreography out of that boring and dull ass "Halo" video. TBH, the ballet scene could have been the whole video - to play off the "Single Ladies" videos.

But it looks like they had problems with the whole video considering they cut out the whole car and woods scene that was in the alternative version. IASF's "Me Myself & I."

What I'd like to see from her is something like a I Am ... Your's performance, but I want the entire performance to be filmed in one long take. No camera edits. No multiple cameras. Just one camera and one take.

The slow motion and multi-edits she does is powerful, but like you said, she doesn't enjoy repeating herself and so should just stop that. Focus on the simplicity, which although she seems very extra, is actually one of her strong points.

Ariana Grande's Focus was a reminder of what Bey used to be like, but better. Bey's videos have more production value now, but there's less choreo. Grown Woman is all we got, but she wasn't serving vocals.

What's i'd love is if she recorded an entire album with her band and came up with creative ad libs on the spot. If she could do in the studio what she does on stage and package that, that would be incredible.

I do also want more choreography in videos but at least she does it onstage. I can see why though that for ST she wanted to do videos different to the typical studio videos she'd been doing, especially the B'Day era ones where she also had a video for (nearly) every song.

She's local and doesn't have any impact. There is nothing iconic about Crazy In Love either.
