It's pretty much agreed across the board that Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs is an out-of-left-field casting choice (it's only "out-of-left field" because Steve Jobs death is fresh and we still remember what he looks like... somewhat). In 20 to 50 years, no one will care what Steve Jobs looked like; it's not like Steve Jobs had an "iconic look" about him.
In any case, that doesn't take away from the fact that it's also pretty much agreed across the board that Michael Fassbender is spectacular in the role and will most likely be nominated (and maybe win) an Oscar for his portrayal.
Poor "The Ugly Girl" with Eddie Uglymayne. Still rooting for Leonardo DiCaprio in "The Revenant," too.
