If your season was Freakshow, something ideal to do would be Bette's speech in the beginnings of Monsters Among Us:
Dear Diary,
It was a Saturday, the third of September that the world as I knew it was forever doomed. The shadows that sheltered me had been banished by the blinding light of scrutiny. I knew I was walking into the Gates of Hell. But like the inescapable pull of gravity, there was nothing eg I could do about it.
It doesn't have to be similar to this at all - I'm just trying to show you the essence of what you're trying to create. This one in particular isn't vey scary but it still sets up the groundwork for the season well, and it's short and sweet. The language at times can be tedious, but effective.
So it's basically supposed to be a monologue from one of the main characters?
Should I give it like an "episode" title? Is each round supposed to represent an episode? Because if so I'm confused on how a brief monologue is supposed to represent a first episode?

No, that's just an example. A monologue could be a useful tool for this challenge, but it's not required. Maybe it's an excerpt from an important scene. Or a preview from an exciting part of the first episode. It's up to you

Ffs yall. It doesn't have to be a monologue. Freakshow was just an example of something you could do. It's appropriate for that season because Bette and Dot are the most important characters, and we get to know Bette through her brief introspection. Dot is much more impersonal than Bette and prefers to be with her own thoughts and we are introduced to that in this scene, in stark contrast to Dot who is much more extroverted. It gives you a very brief look into the season without giving too much away. This one in particular is not very scary like a teaser should be, but the number of reasons I have explained make it effective. Another reason this monologue is so effective is because Dot isn't included, we just see a normal girl walking at a weird angle. I think it's meant to mirror her initial dreams of a life separated from her sister.
I thiiink I have my idea of what I want to do but then again the scene I was planning for this teaser would have slayed/shocked in the story so idk if I want to save it for ep 1
