I thinkk she feeds 2 ways.

1. She seduces a vixtim and drinks their blood fresh.
2. She has a people she keeps prisoner and slowly siphons their blood. The children feed on the prisoner and then Iris takes blood from the children and serves it to Cou tess. I guess the children act as filters or distillation.

She probably only drinks from them when their bodies are still going into shock - which explains the all the wasted blood in the post-orgy scene.
