Evan Peters, Lily Rabe and Max Martini Join the Cast of American Horror Story: Utopia



Following a series of announcements about the cast of the upcoming American Horror Story season, the cult-surrounding Utopia, three more additions were made to the cast, including the returns of series veterans Evan Peters and Lily Rabe in main roles and Saving Private Ryan's Max Martini in a recurring, albeit major, role. Peters stars as Tony Eilkes, a member of Utopia's central cult, and leader of the cult's younger generation. "Tony's a real tough guy," Peters ecstatically explained. "He wants to prove himself to the big guys, but his main issue is that he doesn't fully believe in the aliens that the cult worships. He hasn't seen them yet, and he really wants to, but it's hard to dedicate to a belief when you don't know all about it." When asked whether or not he would have a romance, he explained he would have two-- one with Emma Roberts' character Aaryn Arlington and Aimee Teegarden's character Lisa Wolfe. Rabe returns to the show as Eris, another member of the cult who has an idolizing admiration for Željko Ivanek's character Mirogod Rekonov. "Miro's like a father to her," Rabe stated. "She's super dedicated to him, and she takes from his ruthlessness in an attempt to live up to him." Martini was curt on his role, but confirmed his character is named Nathan, yet another member of the cult, and a reformed alcoholic and veteran who chose to fall off of the grid to join the cult.

Katy Perry Joins
American Horror Story: Flight

Today it was announced that Katy Perry is the latest superstar to join this season of American Horror Story. Reports say that Ms. Perry will star as a special guest during the middle of the season and take her pop star persona to the small screen in the form of her debut role, Candy Tourmaline: the on-top-of-the-world pop star who is caught up in all of this serial killer nonsense. Could Candy be a target this season? We asked Katy to describe her character this season and she replied that Candy is "the definition of life goals". Catch Katy flying first class on Flight 66 this October on FX.

Jeff Bridges and Zoë Kravitz join "American Horror Story: Cabin"

The two were recently announced to be joining the cast alongside other series regulars at American Horror Story's PaleyFest panel. Bridges is to be playing Donald Means, the husband of Kathy Bates' character, Patti. Kravitz announced that she's playing Ivy Lewis, the daughter of Angela Bassett's character, Debbie. Ryan Murphy also revealed a brief synopsis of the season saying, "Morgan just got out of a marriage with her husband (Adam Anderson) and is going on a vacation with her family to stay at a cabin where her mom (Patti Means) knows the owner, then things start to unwind, and people start getting hurt."

Juliette Lewis to Star in American Horror Story: Utopia



The latest of many announcements for the cast of the upcoming American Horror Story season, Cult, Juliette Lewis was revealed to be joining the cast as Amelia Edward-Hawkes, a member of the alien-worshipping cult with "plenty of emotional baggage". Described by Lewis as "a reformed-but-continually-relapsing alcoholic hot mess of a Janice Dickinson tribute", Amelia joined the cult after she assumed it was a form of rehab. "But the problem is," Lewis continues. "That she quickly went back to drinking because she figured an off-the-grid cult that worships alien is basically a free-for-all. Who cares about rules about drinking when you're busy sacrificing teenagers to martians?" It was also revealed that Amelia's failing practitioner ex-husband, Jeremiah Edward-Hawkes, was also cast, but the actor was not revealed.

Emma Roberts, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters & More Set to Return to American Horror Story: Hollywood



American Horror Story alumni Sarah Paulson will join Horror Story’s latest season, Hollywood in a major capacity, being casted as a series regular. Paulson is set to play a thirty-three year old Charlotte Kennedy, a classic and well-known Hollywood actress in the 1920s who’s made quite the name for herself in the film industry. Also returning to the horror anthology is Scream Queens and previous Horror Story star Emma Roberts who will return as Alison Kennedy, the younger sister to Paulson’s character, who’s also an actress and will play a flapper in the 1920’s who’s very well known for personal life. The season is centered around the two sisters, who Roberts describes as “rivals”, showcasing the glitz and glamour of their Hollywood lifestyle while exploring the grittiness and bloodiness of it behind closed doors. “Charlotte and Alison aren’t exactly what you call the closest sisters. Charlotte has established quite the credibility for herself in Hollywood, she made it happen by herself, not necessarily without blood on her hands, but she did it on her own. Now that her sister has found a way into Hollywood and is taking on this lifestyle as a promiscuous woman in the 1920s, she’s worried that the public’s judgment of her sister will pass down on her. She’s worried Ali will tarnish her image,” Paulson explained. “Ali is definitely the favorite character out of all the characters I’ve got to play on Horror Story so far. I think everyone is going to love her. She’s nothing like Madison, Chanel, or any character I’ve done before. She's headstrong, bold, incredibly sexy and confident, and extremely fashionable,” Roberts added about her character. Also returning to the show is AHS alumni Evan Peters who will return as Ethan Hill, a Hollywood director involved romantically with Roberts’ character, who’s set to direct a film in the season that will affect not only one of the Kennedy sister’s lives, but perhaps both. Frances Conroy, Wes Bentley, and Kathy Bates are also all set to return as series regulars.
