He is too creative/talented for country which is a local genre. Despite the localness of country his songs chart in Belgium, Slovakia and the Netherlandstho. Why isn't he doing pop (well, regular pop not country pop)?

Fallon is of the Jennifer Lawrence/Anna Kendrick/Taylor Swift breed of being "super quirky ;]]" and "totes relatable & clumzy, like omg!!!111!11!" Kimmel cracks a semi-funny joke and has interesting bits here and there, but Fallon is as whitebred, stale, and inoffensive as it gets.

You could seriously air his skits during an episode of Sesame Street and it wouldn't be out of place at all.
