Just wait and see what the album has to offer. Your logic implies that neither of the pop girls should be allowed to sing about those topics when she is not in that position in her life.
i've known ADELE before 21 too, but i didn't expect her to go full on HAPPY with her new music just because "I'm tired of it" and because i feel like she is not in the position to do so.
Nobody is safe.
